Triumph SOS Smartphone App Connects Riders to Emergency Services

Helmet, check! Gloves, check! Quad Lock, check! Triumph SOS, check!

Triumph have just released an app that could save your life. Triumph SOS, available on both Apple and Android stores is able to detect the occurrence of a motorcycle accident and alert emergency services in seconds.

GPS location, direction of travel, bike details and medical information of the rider will all be sent to Emergency Services to respond as quick as possible.

Available in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe (incl. Republic of Ireland), Australia and New Zealand, the app is based on a monthly subscription (£3.99 in the UK and $6.99 in Australia... check your local region for exact pricing). A pretty cheap investment for a potential life saver. There's even a 3-month free trial for Triumph owners.

Crash Detection certainly isn't new in the app space, with apps like Detecht and more already featuring it (check out some here: https://www.quadlockcase.com/blogs/news/top-apps-specifically-for-motorbike-riders). But Triumph says their system is much quicker than others as their accredited status means it contacts the emergency services directly, rather than emergency contacts who may become distressed or unsure of the details of the accident.

Simply search 'Triumph SOS' in your local app store to find out more and download.
